The £15 admission fee will allow players to play on the high-end PCs provided, allowing local Counter-Strike players to experience the thrill of LAN competition while also playing against opposition from across the country.
The casual tournament will see teams compete for prizes, with members of the top three teams earning rewards including gaming chairs, headsets, and mouse mats. Prospective players must follow the process outlined in SideQuest’s announcement post, which includes signing up online through SideQuest’s website and registering their teams on SideQuest’s community discord.
SideQuest’s Charing Cross location is a 10-minute walk from Charing Cross railway station, and just around the corner from the Leicester Square underground station. Similarly, SideQuest’s Elephant Park hub is just around the corner from Elephant and Castle’s overground and underground stations. The Coventry location can be found at Cathedral Lanes Shopping Centre, where the shopping centre meets Pepper Lane.
